Fallout Showracemenu

How to Change Your Character's Appearance in Fallout 4 Using Console Commands

Introduction

In previous Bethesda titles, there was a console command called "showracemenu" that could be used to change your character's appearance at any time, even in the middle of a quest. However, in Fallout 4, this command no longer works. There is a new command, however, that can be used to achieve the same effect: "NPCChangeAnimFaceArchetypeAnimFaceArchetypePlayer".

Using the NPCChangeAnimFaceArchetypeAnimFaceArchetypePlayer Command

To use this command, first open the console by pressing the tilde key (~). Then, type the following command:

NPCChangeAnimFaceArchetypeAnimFaceArchetypePlayer animfacename

where animfacename is the name of the face you want to change to. You can find a list of all the available face names by typing the following command:

help NPCChangeAnimFaceArchetypeAnimFaceArchetypePlayer

For example, to change your character's face to the default male face, you would type the following command:

NPCChangeAnimFaceArchetypeAnimFaceArchetypePlayer 000106A2D0

You can also use this command to change your character's body type. To do this, simply replace the animfacename parameter with the name of the body type you want to change to. You can find a list of all the available body type names by typing the following command:

help NPCChangeAnimFaceArchetypeAnimFaceArchetypePlayer

For example, to change your character's body type to the default male body type, you would type the following command:

NPCChangeAnimFaceArchetypeAnimFaceArchetypePlayer 0011B96D

Once you have entered the command, press enter to execute it. Your character's appearance will be changed immediately.
