UAE announces Eid Al Adha holidays

Four-day break for private sector workers

Work to resume on Monday July 3

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the official Eid Al Adha holidays for federal ministries and entities. Workers in the UAE's private sector could be in line for a six-day break this month after astronomers predicted Eid Al Adha would begin on Wednesday June 28.

The four days will be considered as paid holidays for all workers in the UAE's private sector. The holidays for Eid Al Adha 2023 have been announced in the UAE according to the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources. Work will resume on Monday July 3.

Eid Al Adha is one of the most important days on the Muslim calendar and is celebrated in the UAE and all over the Muslim world. Eid Al Adha, which means festival of the sacrifice, will begin on Wednesday June 28.
