The UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League will return to TNT Sports and discovery+ in 2024 with new faces and new formats.

TNT Sports and discovery+ has secured the exclusive rights to broadcast all three competitions in the United States from 2024 to 2027.

New format for UEFA Champions League

The UEFA Champions League will undergo a major format change from the 2024/25 season.

The number of teams in the group stage will increase from 32 to 36.

The group stage will be replaced by a single league format, with each team playing eight matches against different opponents.

The top eight teams in the league will qualify for the knockout stages.

The remaining eight teams will compete in a play-off round, with the winners joining the top eight teams in the knockout stages.

The UEFA Europa League will also undergo a format change from the 2024/25 season.

The UEFA Europa Conference League will continue with its current format from the 2024/25 season.

The competition will feature 32 teams in the group stage, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the knockout stages.

The knockout stages will consist of two-legged ties, with the winners of each tie advancing to the next round.

New faces in UEFA club competitions

The 2024/25 season will see a number of new faces in UEFA club competitions.
